Morning Routine

 Welcome to the New Wave Health Organization blog, the purpose of this blog is to help you identify healthy habits and how to incorporate them into your morning routine. 

Waking up and having a morning routine sets you up for success throughout the day and keeps you healthy along the way. Your body can adapt and easily get used to having a routine every day, all it takes is just knowing how to incorporate them into your lifestyle. As well as what to incorporate. 

"The morning routine helps us set the tone for the day, better allowing us to control our schedules rather than our schedule controlling us. She mentions that taking time and planning your day even how you wake up keeps you stress-free giving you more control of your schedule as well as being able to keep you motivated throughout the day. 

"The best morning routine promotes both wellness and productivity for your whole day. From drinking water to avoiding the snooze button, check out 21 Steps that can take your morning routine from bland to successful."(Asana, 2021).  A productive morning starts with a healthy routine.  Studies have shown having a healthy routine can have a positive impact on one's body such as able to reduce anxiety, forgetfulness, and expanding mental sharpness. 

Here is a video showcasing 35 healthy habits to have in a morning routine yet there are plenty more here are just some ideas. As you can see it's just easy little things that can get you settled and ready for the day. Keeps you more awake throughout the day, focused, and determined to get through the day. Feeling rested can be key in Waking up but it does not stop there.


From eating a healthy breakfast to working out or reading, the activities you prioritize have the potential to transform your mindset. Choose a routine that promotes happiness, sets you up to complete important tasks, encourages a flow state, and supports your work-life balance. Everyone can have a different morning routine its best to find one that suits you, as well as keeps you intrigued and wanting to continue. Having a lack of structure in your routine can increase stress, and anxiety and can overall be the source of your problems.

    I love our blog post it all flows really well and makes me feel like I need a better morning routine. I really like the quotes you included and that the steps can help you to have a successful morning routine yourself. I think that the video was great to a-lot of people could benefit from a less stressful morning and setting them up for a successful day. You did a great job thanks for sharing!

  2. I really appreciate how you broke the text up into smaller sections. It makes it easier to read when the text is not lumped together. It is nice that you have many different actions that people can incorporate into their life. I love that you emphasize that we need to make it "our own" since everyone is different. Putting in bold a takeaway/important piece of the blog helps highlight what you want the reader to see right away. Your blog post gave me some new ideas on how I can improve my morning routine and live a healthier lifestyle. Great work!
